    Default LS1b E85 tune questions

I am setting up an E85 only tune, manually not flex fuel, on the 02020005 OS and I have done a few searches where all I need to change is B3601 to the stoich ratio of the blend used (using an Innovate gauge for content). If this works how do you go below 10 AFR which is the efi limit? I see that the controller limits have a much wider range so if I put in a value like 9.8 AFR and flash will it truly be 9.8 in the controller? When efi saves it goes back to 10. I am a bit confused so any help with this would be appreciated.

I just leave it on the gas scale and add my fuel to the ve table.

Yes that would work but VE is for airflow and would probably skew some other related tables and transients. I'm already scaling for the 512 g/s airflow. Suppose I could also scale my injector FR again to.

Just came across this and it appears it's a false limit: https://forum.efilive.com/showthread...l=1#post199107

Good to know, hopefully it will be this easy.

As a side note, even the 1MB flex OS 2D table shows 10 AFR as minimum limit but the high ethanol content cells the value is <10.

When you do set B3601 to some value less than 10.00, confirm this by logging GM.AFR, it should show your B3601 value (when fueling at stoich).

I think with the latest EFILive update you can set values outside the limits. Like Joe said, if you do that double check that it's actually commanding/fueling your sub-10 AFR.

Most E85 at the pump is E70-E75 and the value ends up being over 10. At least out here in CA. My E85 tune is set at 10.3 and my trims don
