    Default T87 OS/flash compatibility

Are there any hardware incompatibilities with flashing T87's to different OS's?

Specifically, flashing between 8L90 OS's and Allison OS's.

I have TIS and would be flashing with TIS, not EFILive. Basically just wondering if I can buy a cheap T87 from an 8L90 gasser, and flash it with Allison software using TIS?

    Thanks
    Ben

I think I did that with the T87's we got (used TIS to put an Allison file in one and an 8L90 file in the other).
If TIS still doesn't check the part numbers to validate it then it is probably worth a shot.

    Great thanks Ross.

I just bought one for $30 , I cant believe how cheap some of the newer ECU's are...I also saw a brand new E92 for under $100.

For the technology in them it is hard to believe the price, and I think most are American made, not Chinese (mmmaybe Mexico?)
