Question 2012 6.2 Denali LS9 Cam Swap help

Trying to help a buddy out since I have a V2 Scan/Tune to get his Denali up and drivable after he did a complete DOD delete and LS9 cam swap, lifters, ect... The correct cam, cam gear, front cover and sensors(spliced according to kit) are installed and correct. It also took the crank relearn just as it should. AFM is turned off in the tuning as well as matching the DTCs to disabled to match an ls3 Camaro in terms of cam sensor and the afm solenoids to not reported. It will crank and idle fine and drives well with no issues but once he goes to put gas in it (takes cap off even though not running and tries to refire after pumping) it will struggle to crank. The purge solenoid at the intake is then going crazy. You can take the hose off the intake and it fire perfect every time as it should. Am I missing something in the tuning somewhere? This is just to get him going without a hiccup till he can get it tune a dyno and a tuner. Also, its just intake, exhaust and DOD delete/LS9 cam. factory manifolds and cats.

Also note that I did edit the Minimum Enable/Disable Vacuum tables that matched the camaro as well but didn't honestly think they were necessary to be changed?

Are you saying that the EVAP PURGE solenoid cycles repeatedly for no apparent reason...?

Check the wiring for the EVAP PURGE solenoid, make sure it is not pinched/shorted.

Try setting the Minimum Enable/Disable Vacuum tables back to stock.

If it persists try doing a full flash.

Joecar. Sorry to bring up an old thread but here is an update. I moved all evap purge settings back to stock and did a full flash along with a crank relearn again after full flash just to try and cover all basis. Same out come. Seems to do it when the ambient temp is cooler vs summer weather but could be coincidence. I had contemplated an intake leak somewhere and this is compensating after the maf possibly or skewed maf readings? Everything on the evap system has now been replced with the exception of the wiring. Lines have been checked and blown out ect. Was curious that since the dos delete was done by the shop and they pulled the entire motor, even if though I’ve done the crank relearn would anything in the VATS section or patch fix this? Thanks.

    Thanks for the update.

I don't think anything in VATS section/patch would fix this.

I'm thinking it's either an intake leak from when they R&R the motor somewhere behind the MAF or either it's a fuel system issue. Thoughts? I can PM you the file just to see if you would like?
