Default help with tuning AC with big cam

ok guys i have my car idling good...i keep it at about 1000 because i dont want any more lope than it already has...

Either way when i turn my AC on the idle drops to about 500 rpm and then the ac will not work...only works if i then manually hold the idle up with the accelerator pedal. any input on how to fix this would be awesome..

I have an OLSD tune mafless.

    Thanks
    Louie

have a look at the b4354 table and your desired idle speeds with ac b4603. If your idle speeds are ok, try some more air in b4354 and see how that goes.

Here's what helped mine a lot. Increasing these values ramps airflow faster -> these values are from the 2004 GTO tune:

    B4354:

LABELS A/C Airflow Ramp In (Grams/Second)
    Nm Value
    0 5.000000
    5 5.000000
    11 5.000000
    16 5.000000
    22 5.000000
    27 5.000000
    33 5.000000
    38 5.000000
    43 5.000000
    49 5.000000
    54 5.000000
    60 5.000000
    65 5.000000
    70 5.000000

    B4354:

LABELS A/C Airflow Ramp Out (Grams/Second)
    Nm Value
    0 0.040039
    5 0.040039
    11 0.040039
    16 0.040039
    22 0.040039
    27 0.040039
    33 0.040039
    38 0.049805
    43 0.049805
    49 0.049805
    54 0.049805
    60 0.049805
    65 0.049805
    70 0.049805

    G0108 AC Torque Loss:

Scaled entire table by 133% (*1.33)then backed it down to bring Long and Short Term Idle Air Trims into same range as when AC/Off. Wait a couple minutes after turn/On in order for the LT/ST Idle Airflow values to settle.

    Hope this helps some.
