Going to attempt a retune with my Dads LS1a car.

I better understand the backup VE nonsense and maybe will get lucky and figure a way to tune the MAF. Anywho-

I seem to have hit a wall tuning last time with startup airflow. Reguardless how much airflow I put, the IAC was only opening so far. The throttle blade is mechanically set at running idle to have good counts(it's DBC).

Is there a trick to getting LS1a to listen to the startup tables? On my ls1b DBW truck I had no issues. I could make it roar to life if I wanted, but this LS1a no matter how much I add it sputters to life and the IAC counts stay low during startup around 130ish if memory serves correct.
