Default LS3 codes disabled but still coming on

A mail order customer tells me he is still getting p0420 and p0430 MIL on his 2014 ls3 I did for him. I checked the tune and they were disabled both DTC and MIL. I had him send it back, read the ecm and sure enough those codes are off. Is this guy messing with me? Is my equipment faulty? And ideas?

    They were set to Not-Reported...?

Where is he seeing that they are reported...? Can he send you a screenshot...? Could it be that they are Old codes, and he does not realize this...?

They were set to not reported. Correct. He says the car runs and then throttle won’t accelerae anymore and those two codes pop up. When he clears them it runs again. There is also the occasional p0122 and p0223 that occasionally accompany them. But the first two codes don’t make sense since they are disabled! In fairness, I flashed the ecm with TC but read it back with efilive. Both show those two codes as disabled. No MIL also.

P0420/P0430 are catalysts codes, these won't effect throttle... try setting these to Not-Reported and MIL-On.

P0122/P0233 are throttle codes, these are causing non-acceleration... he should investigate this to see if there is a throttle/ETC problem.
