Default 98 fuel gauge after 99+ swap

98 trans am, 0411 upgrade. I did the fuel segment swap, but I must have missed somewhere. The gauge is reading empty which I know isn't correct, the scan showed 100% which I don't believe is correct, however it's a lot closer to 100% than it is 0 as the gauge is suggesting. Maybe it's full, it should be close.

Anyway, can someone take a look at my tune and see if I made a mistake along the way with the swap.

It seems to me that you have to reverse the slope on table F0501.

I thought it was funny too, but I found a couple people said it needed to be done that way. Even found a thread today with a tune posted that was the same as I have said that's what he did. Oh well guess it says gauge calibration right on it, sorry working a lot of hours. Anything else look funny to you?
Everything else seems to work, so I'm pretty happy about that.

    Everything else looks ok.

B3618 PE based on RPM: above 5200 rpm it might be a little lean.

I'll go through all that and verify it when I tune it. Not sure where I set it, I would assume 1.15.
Just making sure everything in the segment swap looked good. Thanks

Do I need to do a full reflash? Did a cal flash from v2 and the gauge still reads empty.

    Try doing a full flash.

Full reflash didn't do anything, however I changed {F0507} to match what the my compare file was and my log showed 59% and my gas gauge is right at halfway. So even if it's backwards I'll know when I put gas in it. I'll fill it up to confirm that I've got that right.
I still don't know about accuracy of {F0507} as it's the stock setting for a 2002 Fbody which has a different size tank. As long as it shows empty when it's empty and full when it's full I guess I don't care lol

You can "calibrate it" by putting in 4 gallons at a time (4 gal being approx 1/4 tank).

I'll see if I can run the tank empty and verify it at some point.
