    Default p0053 and p0059

i have installed brand new denso sensors and am getting these heater codes.

i am using a 07 hummer tune and need to get this vehicle past emissions testing so i cannot disable.

so far i have verified that there is power at the 02's, and i have also plugged into the harness with an old sensor and the heater circuit is working as i verified a 0.8A draw when the heater is activated. (cut heater wire and put meter inline)

is it possible to relax the heater testing in the tune without disabling?

should i purchase new ac delco sensors? rock auto shows these to have less openings.

the harness is from a 06 savana, i purchased sensors to match the harness, 07 hummer shows a different part number for the 02's it looks like only the wire is longer.

sensors are within 6in of manifold, using a cast manifold.

Check wiring, check grounds, check resistance of heater circuit.

Maybe the new O2S's are faulty (I've run into this many times).

Do you have the O2S wiring diagram for this vehicle...?

The one wire goes to switched 12v, checked that, good..
the other wire gets pulled down to 0v by ecm, also verified that.
    yes i have the diagram

Do you have other O2S's that you can try...?

the front and rear are the same, but the reason i replaced them in the first place was heater resistance codes. (these are the second set with the same codes)

i am thinking maybe i should try to wire them to constant fused 12v instead of switched. maybe the relay's aren't powering the o2's fast enough. it does the heater test right away from what i read. this doesnt really make sense though as i have 2 large relays, one runs all the bank 1 and one does all bank 2 (injectors, coils, and 02's)

some ls1b diagrams show them constant 12v some like the hummer show switched.

just looking at this hummer diagram (harness is van, tune is hummer) and their is a crank volt signal to c2 59, on the van harness this is empty, wonder what this is for? anti theft?

    Harness/Van is 2006, and Tune/ECM/Hummer is 2007...?

    What color is C2...?

Let me see if I can find out more about C2 59...?

    correct
    2006 van harness
    2006 van engine
added in tac module from lets say 07 hummer (correct part no)
added in app from 07 hummer
installed into a 08 jeep jk rubicon manual

i was previously running mint with a 04 manual 2500 truck tune, drive clean insists that i use a newer OS not from heavy duty pickup.. only tune in the 07/8 range i could find is the 07 hummer, and its the only tune that will work with the 04 tac and app. they have agreed to grant hotrod status if i can use the 07 h2 tune and complete reediness testing..

    its a 1mb pcm, blue/green

Thank you for contacting Denso Products and Services with your inquiry. To answer your question, these 2 sensors DO NOT have the same heater resistance and are NOT interchangeable.

If you want to share you vehicle information (year / make / model / liter / sensor position), I can double-check that 234-4337 is the correct sensor.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

    Thanks
