    re: the following for a 2018 Chevy Cruze

    "To obtain the seed file for your vehicle, follow the procedure below:

    1. Attempt to read the controller to obtain the unauthorized auth-code. Because the authorized auth-code is not yet known, reading will fail with the error message:

    Is step 1 supposed to occur by plugging the EFI live controller into the OBD port while in the car or is it supposed to occur within the software interface where the software attempts to query a file on the disk?
