    Default Wont Read

    I Hooked up to 2 different lml last night and tryied to get the stock file and it kept coming up cant read through pass-thru mode. What do I need to do or how do I go about getting the files?

    You cannot read either the E86A or E86B, not possible.

    The Factory ecm will now allow the contents to be read out via OBD.

    You need to find a stock file that matches the trucks OBD Scan in EFI-Live format.

    There are some online sources as well as companies that offer them for sale for a fee.

    But nothing after 2011 for GM Diesel and nothing after 2010 Cummins can be read via OBD.

    The Factories disabled that feature in the ecms to prevent anyone from reading out the factory calibration.

    You will also not be able to read anyone's tune out of either ecm families either.

    The L5P is even worse.

    Send GM an Email to complain, they designed it that way.

    I agree, I was just trying to point out that complaining about an issue that was not instigated by anyone but GM won't get you far.

    I am Looking for a solution to my issue with 2015 duramax isnt doing Regen As i took to dealer and they did a manual regen and next day drove 50 miles only to get the reduced power message .. the dealership was only able to get the particulate filter down to 16gs of soot in hopes of the truck regenerating and taking care of the rest but obviously it didnt I have a Flashscan V2 but i cannot find a stock tune anywhere to try and reflash my ecm and also when loking at the live data in the regen status it says inactive is this normal or is it turned off to where it wont regen
