    Default Abuse mode

Can someone explain the exact functions of abuse mode, and explain how it is different or how it is a part of the term we love to throw around "Torque management"? I understand how the PCM pulls timing during shifts to reduce driveline stress, but what are other events that would cause the engine's power output to be reduced?

Abuse mode is to stop you doing things like shifting from Park to Drive at high RPM / TPS.
