Default trouble with Blackbear PID file

Hey guys new to EFI live and tuning in general, going to have black bear do a tune for my ol 2006 Silverado, they sent me a PID file but for the life of me i cant figure out how to import it into my PID list. I keep getting error codes saying either its not valid multi stream file, or that my software isn't a current enough version, tried changing the file name to .pld .efi .bbx .txt .config etc. deleted and redownloaded the most current software, not really getting anywhere with it. Its gotta be something stupid im missing/not doing correctly, on an HP laptop running windows 10 pro 64 bit. Any insight y'all could offer would be greatly appreciated since BB is closed for the weekend and i want to have a solid log for them come monday.
