Unable to flash LS1A (1998 Pontiac Firebird)

It's been a long time since I needed to use my EFILive v1.2 to do some work on my 1998 Pontiac Firebird with a LS1A. But, the head/cam/injector upgrade now has given me the need.

Since I no longer have my old laptop, I downloaded the latest EFILive v7.5. In the past, I was able to just upload, make my changes and flash with no other steps. Now when I try to flash my changes back into the controller, I receive a warning message that says "The attached device is a "Scan Only" device and cannot be used to flash any controllers."

I bought the unit second hand and it has one license used and one available, but I shouldn't need to use a license for a LS1A, correct?

Do I just need to register my device? If so, how do I get the registration key?
