Default Lt1 24x conversion base tune?

What’s a good starting point to making a base tune? Stock 95 lt1 with EFI connection 24x kit. Custom harness with ls ckp and cmp, lt1 map, ls1 maf and iat, lt1 iac and tps. Two lt1 knock sensors.

02 Express Van or 02 Fullsize OBS 5.7 SBC. Express Van is going to be the easiest to find!

And now that I said that, Express Van wouldnt work with 24x/1x setup. You'll need to use a regular LS1/LQ4 base tune as that'll be 24x/1x and individual coils. Not really a big difference between Camaro or truck calibrations, just how the pinout is and engine size from the factory.

If you kept the OptiSpark (doubting it), you'll need to get creative as I don't believe there was a factory combo of 24x + dizzy.

The engine is basically a ls1 dbc but with lt1 components. Just not sure how different they flow, if sensors are different (iac, knocks, etc) and need to be altered....

Yes all of that will need to be adjusted, but you'll have to tune that and/or copy stuff from a SBC-based tune (i.e. Express Van). More important is getting the 24x setup so you can actually crank and fire it over.

Are you keeping the LT1 intake?

I have a friend in Canada that is currently working on a 24X system for his LT1.

also I have a start on a 24X setup to fit inside of the Opti-no-Spark that I probably should try to finish lol
