Anyone done this, seems to have benefits, does it really need sensor or is virtual ok. Anyone willing make changes needed if I post operating file.

If your local pump fuel sucks then yes you will pick up. I
Still anyone knowing will virtual work or sensor mandatory. Does any LT1 have factory FFV

I would install a sensor for the best results.
You need to install the sensor and modify the stock calibration. Video on how to install the sensor here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBAu...ature=emb_logo . In California we are stuck with 91 octane fuel, so flex fuel is the only way to go. It's worth about 30 HP and 30 ft-lbs. of torque on an otherwise stock LT1.
We have 95 with E10 and 98 E5 I think they are roughly like your 91 and 93. 98 is 1,7 Eur, 95 1,5 Eur E85 is 1,00 Eur per liter. I used to run 50/50% 95/85 in 5G L99 ,it had the sensor, but worked best with that mix, I bet that E85 setting was not spot on, it was from some FFV pickup. It consumed mix only slightly more than 98.
Now I want LT1 to be optimised for E85, also retarding spark on light loads for good efiency and more lead on full power. L99 did knock on 98 slightly but with mix not at all.
I think DI in LT1 with high comp is perfect for E85, its great allready as it is now in stock.
Anyone with good setting for E85, I am offcourse willing to compensate.
