Can I trick the pcm into giving a actual 14.2 AFR in closed loop??

I want to have idle remain closed loop, but I need a little richer AFR at idle. Can I somehow adjust a multiplier table to remove a little fuel or something in the idle area. I have to look arund and see if there is something I can manipulate.

When the computer is commanding a 14.7:1 AFR for idle, i want my wideband (actual AFR) to be a little richer. Just at idle.

I want to do this to give the idle more consistancy in closed loop vs. open in my SD tune. Being that it would be so close to Stoich, it should be very accurate.

Any thoughts?? Do people do this already? I need to scroll around my laptop and look how I can do this tonight!

You could try setting B3601 to that value. If you don't have that table in your OS then it is hardcoaded to 14.63:1 in which case I don't thing so in Closed Loop.

I've never gotten into messing with the stoich a/f ratio...I will say if you do try that it will throw your other tables off since thats a reference table so just keep that in mind.

Good point.. Anything that uses EQ Ratio will but offset as a result of this change.

You could change the O2 switch point {B4105}. Problem would be knowing what exactly 14.2:1 would be on a narrowband...
