Default Need 4L80E segment swap 12606960 OS

I have attached the tune I am trying to 80e segment swap. I am unaware of how to blend tunes when they don't share operating systems. THANKS in advance for any help or words of wisdom.

I looked at the file, this is an 04 Silverado 5.3. The 12606960 OS supersedes 12587603, but is only for 1500/light duty trucks. There isn't a corresponding 2500/HD file with the 4L80E. You'll need to change the underlying OS so you can segment swap it.

I'd recommend the 12587603 OS as it's pretty universal for 2004 and readily available. The DropBox tune repo has an 04 Sierra 5.3 and 6.0 files, both with this OS. I would use the 6.0 file and copy over your non-transmission settings (engine, system, speedo) from your current tune. You could use the 5.3 file, just have to do the segment swap as well as copy everything over from your tune.

Heres one that i manually did in hex. I imported this into efi from a .bin. I have personally tested it. I would just use your file and segment swap from the file i posted. Remember to adjust for gear and tire size

    Thanks!!!
I took ScarabEpic22's advice and used a 6.0 / 80e tune with 12587603 and segment swapped the engine over and made changes page by page to match the owners original engine tune. I just have always been able to find an 80e segment to swap that had the same OS. THANKS for the assistance guys!!!

This is helpful information, thank you for sharing. For some reason the files aren't attached to the posts anymore, are they available somewhere?

You need to have a minimum post count to be able to attach things. The amount of spam post that are caught before users see it is insane, not that the minimum post count stops it totally it at least gives the spam filters half a chance to intercept it.
