    Default E67 and brake pedal sensor wiring

    Almost finished my harness for retrofitting a LSA 2013, 6L90E combo.
    I got the engine and trans running on a pallet so its just a couple of things left.

    I got an error code because I have no brake bedal sensor.
    DTC is P057C Brake pedal position sensor circuit low voltage

    The sensor that I dont have seems to have two circuits, one to the BCM and one to the ECU -> CAN -> TCM.
    I do believe I only need the circuit to the ECM. Looking in the diagram its a 0-5V signal with 3 wires.

    X3, pin 27, WH, Brake Apply Sensor Low Reference
    X3, pin 43, TN, Brake Apply Sensor Voltage Reference
    X3, pin 63, YE, Brake Position Sensor Signal

    Do I really need position sensor that tracks the pedal movement?
    Can I wire in a relay on the 5v and a resistor controlled by the cars brake switch?
    Do I need to calibrate the brake pedal sensor to (not available in EFI live I guess)?

    Does anyone know if its a similar solution on other ECUs like the E38 with an automatic trans?
    I guess its the same solution on many cars?

    A late update with no sucess :(

    I have now tested to wire a brake pedal position sensor (ACDelco 20995840) into the harness on
    X3, pin 27, WH, Brake Apply Sensor Low Reference
    X3, pin 43, TN, Brake Apply Sensor Voltage Reference
    X3, pin 63, YE, Brake Position Sensor Signal

    I still got the DTC is P057C.
    Can it be that I need to relearn or something?
    I am also trying to look at PIDs (BRKR Brake Pedal Status) to see if there is any change there when moving the brake pedal but nothing.

    I can add that I have not driven the car so I dont even know if this is a problem. I guess the transmission lockup could be affected?

    Any input is of great value, thanks!

    We have done lots of standalone E38/6l90 systems. On trans connector
    pin 3 splits and goes to J1-1 and also to solenoid for shift lock if used.
    pin4=B+ (2 amp fuse is plenty)
    pin 5= ground
    pin6=splits and goes to J1 and to brake switch. We also add a 1.2k pull down resistor between pins 5 and 6
    pins 10 and 11 are can buss from ecu
    pins13 and 14 are can buss to obd connector
    pins 9and 12= ign
    This is based on a 2013 silverado

    I may have done some progress, maybe the brake position sensor needs to be recalibrated.
    Dont have that equipment so I have done some trial and error with the harness on a bench.
    Wish EFILive could do the calibration as it can do with the clutch pedal?

    If I clear the codes and have the sensor in a special range the code goes away.
    As soon as I move out of the range it triggers a DTC sensor low or sensor high condition.

    Brake position sensor might be able to be set/calibrated without GM scantool, check GM service manual.

    Seems like I need a GM compatible scan tool, not my luck, I got a WOW scanner but that has not Camaro models to select :(

    I also really hope that the brake pedal sensor connected to the ECU is used for talking with the TCM and lockup function in there.
    Its two brake pedal position sensors on the stock ZL1 Camaro and the second one goes to the BCM.
