    Default ECT Pid

    Hey Guys, howz it going?

Was needing to know if there is an ECT voltage (not ECT temp) PID for scanning.

Someone has suggested there are different algorithms (04 different than 05 for example) for translating voltage into the final gauge reading, and I figured I could just compare with the voltage signal.

    How bout it?

If it can be done on a techII then Ross and Paul can do it too. They just need to know what PID it is I think.

I am 99% sure the ECM will not report the voltage of the sensor, just the corrected into C/F value.

    Cheers,
