    Default Turbo 5.3 tune review

Hi Everyone. I am new to tuning and this is the first tune I have ever worked on, so I am looking to see if I am on the correct path. The truck I am tuning is a 2000 Chevy silverado 1500 rcsb with a 4L80, on3 70mm turbo kit, BTR turbo cam stage 1 (222/227 with a 113LSA), Deatschwerks 72lb injectors, and EFI source 3 bar map sensor. The truck makes 14psi on the wastegate spring and boost controller turned all the way down (the rings gaps have been opened up).

My tune and a WOT log are attached. Let me know your thoughts and thank you in advance for your time!

****reminder - this is the first thing I have ever tuned. Use any information from my tune at your own risk.****

Re upload your datalog. It has a .XLS extension on it and wont allow to open with EFI even after changing it to .EFI.
Quick look over your tune and it does need some work but need to see datalog first.

Here is the .EFI file. Since this log, I have cleaned up some of the off boost fueling and have not been able to repeat the knock shown in the log.

what has your experience beeen with b4901 set to 0.3 and a0014 aggressive like that? do you see any ambient temp related swings in the mixture? my stock ls1 file had 0.04 in b4901.

how is you pe working with b3643 set to that tiny value (0.02)?

I haven't seen any ambient temp swings, but I am also in semi-closed loop until I am over 85 KPa. Although, even after that I do not see much variation in AFR while in open loop and under boost. As far as b3643, I do not see any delays in my AFR and it jumps right to where I want it on my AEM gauge.

The good news is the truck is still running with basically the same tune posted and I have gone through some seasons where the lows were in the 20s and highs in the 90s.
