    Default No communication with PCM

    Hey guys

    Been a loooong time.
Pulled my PCM apart to powdercoat the housing….and somehow in the process I can no longer connect to the PCM via efilive.
I can connect directly to the installed road runner via the usb on the pcb and ‘tunercats’.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks
    Howard

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

    Hi Howard,

    How're you doing, it's been a while.

Are you using V5...? I thought you used V7.

From V7 scantool, connect (round green button), and copy/paste the log text from the log tab.

Gidday mate….it has been a very long time. Lots has happened since I was last here.
Glad to be playing in this pond again.
Yes…using V7. I’ll do as you suggested tomorrow when I get home. thanks
I can flash an OS and Cal to the RR via either EFILive or TC….and can read it and all is good….but still same issue.
Fuel gauge goes off scale (which apparently means no or corrupt cal) and the truck won’t fire….just cranks over.

You can copy/paste from the Console tab to here.

Or if you have a pic of it, click the Insert Image (looks like a tree thru a window).
