    Default Engine braking

    Hello,
    Hope all well.
I would like to increase my engine braking as trying to fine tune.
I have efilive and understand may be the throttle follower cracker tables

When if accelerating and i come off throttle i want to increase that braking a bit more as having to brake harder at the moment but dont want severe engine braking if shifting up through gears, so is this the delay or decayNewInj_0006.ctz?
    What exactly should i try?
would like a bit more less cruise control in all speeds but more braking at higher speeds after a delay.
Have attached my latest tune COS3
Tried posting in LS1techbut no replies so far..
    Regards
    gavin

    Hi Gav,

I’ll spark up my laptop later on and have a look at your tune file, throttle follower affects overrun (so cruise effect), you can also play with DFCO to affect engine braking.

Try retarding the spark table(s) at loads (g/cyl) correspondin to closed throttle.

Also, if you have AT, set the TCC to remain locked on closed throttle coast.

Gav, if you get too close to zero then you’ll pop n bang on overrun (a giggle for a while ;-))

    Hi,
How much should I retard the timing? Running around 37 in those overrun areas atm, gonna try 30? Or do I need a lot more?
