    Default Tune unlocking

I trued to use the search function but no such luck. I have a pair of LMM's both tuned by IdahoRob fromerly of ATP. Well I just put bigger tires on both and have no way to adjust the speedometer as the tunes are locked. Is there a way around this? I'd hate to buy new tunes as these work amazing.

    Thanks

Yes if I recall right, V8 will unlock it for you but it can take days.

If that doesn't work, I have an other program that can unlock it as well..with V8 it will over write the file with another tune. Just ask Idaho Bob for an adjustment or the unlock key.

No one will unlock the files. They are the property of the tuner. Atp will not touch these times as the epa tied his hands a long time ago.

You can read the ECM out in raw binary and remove the lock coding if you desire to use those files yourself. Otherwise, have someone else tune it again.

Locked files can be flashed over with someone else's filea

I have no idea how to get ahold of him any more since he closed up shop. I moved to Alaska and lost touch unfortunately

I'm in the same boat as you are, I went down in tires size significantly, with plans to remove my lift kit. I've resigned myself to either learn to accept the speedo being off or buy a new one from someone that still does non epa compliant tunes, if you can find someone.
