2007 Chevy Suburban DOD/AFM Disable+ Tune

Good morning
The wife and I purchased a 07 Chevy Suburban with the 5.3l V8. I would like to put a stage 1 tune and disable DOD/AFM. I am able to use a EFI live tuner from our shop. I have never used efi live . how does this work. is there a way to purchase a a stage 1
tune for my SUV ?
or can I just download my SUV stock tune and adjust parameters, and disable DOD? On my other car when I purchased a tuner for it, it also came with 4 generic tunes from tuner manufacturer. does efi work same way?

read the ECM and TCM tunes off your truck with the EFI Live and save them.
You can adjust the parameters needed to get the results you want.

is there a post or somewhere to learn or read which parameter needed to adjust on TCM, ECM? for now i want to turn off AFM/DOD . I am getting a S&B air intake however they are on B/O. planning to do full exhaust with headers. depending on how hard it is to remove pass header.

Disabling DoD is not that difficult.

Read ECM, save file, open file, scroll down to the DoD folder, adjust calibration values accordingly. Save file again, with a different name, license ECM, then cal flash ECM.

B0921 Change to NO
B0961 Change all to DISABLE

here are my stock tunes plus one with DOD disabled. however I m trying to figure out how to to load back to PCM?

Open V8 scan and Tune
F3
auto detect
F3, find and open the file that you made
F6, license the controller, follow the prompts, then flash

Just for fun.. Here is a Script to run on a E38 ECM to disable DOD/AFM
Save this file to this Location on your PC

Documents\EFILive\V7.5\User Configuration\Scripts
E38_DOD_AFM_Disable.txt



Read your tune off the ECM and save it
Open your tune
Press CTRL+P to run a script
Click open at the bottom left and find this file name to double click on it
Bottom left click Run
Click Close
Save file with a new file name
Cal-Flash the tune and your done
