Why not just use the cax in the software it was made for, v7.5??? Problem solved for everyone. It 100% works in v7.5 as it was built for v7.5. Conversions to v8 is not perfect and requires manually editing after to get it working.

The destination folder layout is quite a bit different. Where must the .cax file be located in order to activate the DTC list in V7.5?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\EFILive\V7.5\Calibrations

I've tried placing the file in the Calibrations folder and in the specific controller file which contains the .calz files.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\EFILive\V7.5\Calibrations\CMD
Does the label of the file need to match the Calibration ID of the current tune file?

Remove the (- DTC) in the name of the file. So instead of (52120818 - DTC) its just labeled as 52120818. Does that makes sense? Didn't work for me until I renamed file.

Holy smokes! Well done! I swear I've tried that once. Might have had a corrupted file or screwed something up after moving stuff around and trying different labels.......any way, I re downloaded the file, removed the (- DTC) suffix, dropped it in the Calibrations folder, and there it was. Thank you, guys. I'm getting ready to do a BD Iron horn kit on my 2012 and just picked up their new electronic exhaust brake. So, I'll be needing to change some VGT parameters.

Works just fine in v7.5 for me, could use better organization and stuff but works just fine. As noted above, the file name just needs to be modified so it only contains the OS number.

I changed the file name to just the OS number and it made no change.

Try placing in /documents/EFILive/v7.5/user configuration/ folder. That’s where I have all my cax files
