    Default 3bar map/ls1

is there really no reliable (oem) 3bar map sensor fitting the ls1/c5 connector?

about the best option is the ZR1 MAP with a wiring adapter.
Only issue is that its not a direct fit in the intake.

can you recommend a particular addapter?

(i have the 261 230 185 and two addapters that dont fit. i use them in a "remote" location anyway.)

thank you. if the picture is correct it will not fit. maybe the picture is wrong? did you get it and it did fit?

this is what i need. 126 151 36 thats on there now on the left. the harness i have on the right. i was thinking that if i get rid of the two tabs its going in there. but im afraid to mess up the connections (it switches #1 and #2).

(it a real pain gettig small stuff over here. the shipping being from $60 up.)

I used the WAMAP31-6 with the GM 12592525 MAP on a lot of turbo builds.
Im not seeing any info on the 261 230 185 number.

Ive also used the Holley 558-416 for the 12592525 Map.

thank you. 261 230 185 = 125 925 25. the adapters all fit the sensor, but there seem to be several varieties on the other (harness) end although they look the same from the outside, like above.

map sensors that fit the ls1/ls7 harness plug (i dont care about the air connection as i run them remote anyway):

3 bar 19418812 (i dont have it, but source is reliable, probably $100+)**
    3 bar 125922525 = 0261230185 (ls9) with addapter holley 558-416 or ict wamap31-6 (probably $50-70)*
    2 bar 12615136/42341 acd (i have this, $70+) superceded by 19418810 ***
    2 bar 19418810/10191 acd (i have this, $100+)

here is a plehora of other sensors out there, no idea which are reliable and what they really fit:

    3 bar 55567257 (gm)
    3 bar 554-107 holley
    3 bar 12223861
    3 bar 261230263 (ls9, $33)
    3 bar 1017071218 fast
    3 bar 12623671/2134658 acd
    2 bar 12580698, 16235939, 09350899 *** (predeccessors to 12615136)
    2 bar 12569241
    2 bar 12614973
    2 bar 19418810***
    2 bar 12615136
    2 bar 16040749/2131631

and of course the ancient (brick) style like 12223861 ($13).

as i had the 12592525 i managed to get the correct harness on ebay (→designations above) and it fits. some of the addapters look identical from the outside, but will not fit the ls1/ls7 harness plug, as mentioned.

*also caspers 109103 ($24) and lingenfelter ce 105208 ($24) which i dont have.
    ** silverado ($66): https://www.partsgeek.com/ss/?i=1&ssq=19418812

edit: added and corrected some info.

DPE Corvettes had a 2.5bar ls map sensor and so did dave steck. Not sure if they are still around.

dsx has one of the above for $33. as to the dpe (was not available for years i believe): id rather avoid a modified sensor for that price. i guess you can get a $17 universal sensor (1/8 npt) from ebay and use that if you want.

(good to know you are still around, btw.)
