I'm a new member. I tried posting in the Allison transmission section, but the topic did not appear. I tried re-posting, but the forum told me it was a duplicate post. The post does not appear in my subscription list. Can I post a new topic here? Do I need to post replies to other topics before I can post a new topic?

Ok, so I tried again and did notice the tiny "when approved by a moderator" instead of most forums' "Thank you for your post" message.

I don't see anything elsewhere on the site about moderators. How long does it normally take to get a new topic posted?
