    Default COS #5 what am i doing wrong!!!

    well i had a crack at the cos 5 on the 8tb equipped car, full reflash and all that, went to fire it up, she starts idles for one second then shuts down, it will not rev with throttle help, nothing, the log file shows the injector ms hit zero when it starts, what the hell am i doing wrong????

    (A0003)= enable
    (A0004)= 105 kpa
    (A0005)= 8000rpm
    (A0006)= 101 %

    please help, fyi the map ve still exists.

    What you have there is, the TPS VE table will be used when the TPS is below 101 %, below 8000rpm and below 105 kpa.
    Basically always, I would assume you have some numbers in the TPS VE Table?

    well yeah, i want to strictly use the tps for this motor, the cam idles around 89kpa, i do have numbers in both ve's too, its got me, really got me.

    Id disable the tps table and get it working with a known good tune first. I assume you had this running on something else before?
    If so you can use the good tune to check/verify your tps table.
    How did you create your tps table?
    Maybe enable it a little at a time with loads of logging.

    Problem when a car doesnt run much at all is that you dont get any logs to see what the problem is. So best to start with something that works and go from there.

    whoops! i found the bugger of a problem, i set the mar frequency to not reported , changed it over and voila!! we have a tps ve working,
    this tps ve is the best thing since sliced bread.

    I am having similiar problems. What is the mar frequency?

    the maf has been tucked away for a while now the maf performance (p0101) was set to not reported.
