    Default 2003 corvette IAT ques.

I am adding a methanol injection kit to my supercharged corvette. The IAT is built into the mass air flow on this particular application. Does anyone know how I can move my IAT behind the mass air flow so I do not run the methanol through the mass air flow sensor and so I pick my air temp up after the methanol injection?

Whipple'd truck owners often do this same thing, as IAT readings before the blower are not entirely accurate.

As I understand it, you will want to get an IAT sensor for a 98-02 LS1 F-body, then splice it into the tan and black wires from the MAF sensor. Check this Magnacharger manual for details (had to do this with the Radix on my truck). http://www.magnacharger.com/pdf/manu...00-2003-06.pdf

Then, it's a matter of having the F-Body IAT sensor and grommet and finding a suitable position to mount it.

Thanks for the info Justin. I wasn't able to get the f-body iat but I was able to get a 2000 corvette iat today. Hopefully it will work.

Thanks TAquickness for your reply. I happened to be at a friends house when he was throwing out some "junk". He was throwing out a gm 3.8 wiring harness. I snagged the iat connector off of it. I also picked up a '00 Corvette iat. I spliced it in and it is working perfectly. I have also hooked up the methanol kit so I will see how it runs at the track Friday. Thanks again,
    Danny

As do I if they look like this: http://www.camaroelectronics.com/Connector.jpg

I accidently ended up with 100 of these and until I sell them all, they are $3.00 with pins, $6.00 with pigtails.
