Default NEW IDEA! Boost Builder Percentage Table???

Could a table be added based on TPS to muliply the main VE table a certain percent and then taper off in a set time frame to build boost.

I would like to be able to multiply the entire main VE table only by lets say 20% for about .75 second or so under 100% throttle.

Turbos LOVE fuel and will spool a ton faster with more fuel. It would almost act as an accelerator pump shot of additional fuel jsut for the instant you nail it to the floor.

EFILIVE, this would work great... what do you think?? I need more power!!

I have a few more tiny ideas on how to make turbos cars faster and more driveable if you'd be willing to update.

I can be the turbo tuner test mule!!!

mate, any chance you can explain how having more fuel makes the turbo spool quicker?. I would have though the less fuel the more hotter the exhaust would be, therefore quicker spooling.

    Cheers

The increased fuel adds more exhaust velocity, helps get the turbos going! Do you have a turbo car? If so, increase the ve map by 15% and mash the pedal, you should notice the boost come on much harder. Really makes a difference on my car.
The reason I would like this feature is so for normal driving I can keep fuel economy, but in an instance where I want power very quickly and mash the pedal, the boost will come on quicker and stronger at 100% throttle.

I requested this feature as well a couple of months ago... although for different reasons. I need it to combat a momentary lean condition while waiting for my methanol injection to build sufficient pressure at tip-in.

Hopefully they will add this at some point!

I'm going to merge this into the same thread in the Forced Induction section.

Edit: and I deleted a couple of replies referring to the "other" identical thread (now merged into here).
