    Default Personal to Commercial required?

    Hi All,

I'm having a blast gently tweaking things and so far haven't ballsed up anything that I couldn't reverse out of.

My question comes from picking up on bits and pieces in the forums and thinking "hmmmm, that's where I'm going wrong".

I'm running a 2000 M6 Camaro setup in my replica Cobra in SD mode (mafless), in which case I am guessing that I'm only using the low octane spark table.

Is it OK (for OK read safe) to just copy the high octane spark table to the low and be done? or would the sensible thing be to upgrade to commercial and flash in a different years OS and a custom OS for running SD?

    Thanks

    Jim

yes it's safe so long as you stick with good fuel. If you follow the steps in the AutoVE tutorial, it has you copy the high to the low.

As far as upgrading to comercial... Many many benifiets there - being in the custom OS's. You can utilize dual spark maps, as wells as take advantage of EFILives many custom parameters (valet mode, TPS VE, etc...).
