    Default 02 Z28 tune

I will be helping a buddy of mine tune his 02 Z28 next weekend. Here is my plan for tuning. Can you guys tell me if am on the right track or if I am missing anything?

    Car mods
    -headers
    -CAI
    -exhaust
    -no cat

    Plan
    - autove tune the car
    - remove the TM
    - remove/low the paramters around PE??
    - work on shifting
    - spark table - (not sure how on this one)

Try mine as a starting point.

The VE should be damn close and so should the MAF. I'm running an '02 Z28 with super sucker ram air, lid, pacesetters, oryp, and magnaflow. The shift tables are set for my stall and 3.73 gears.

    Your welcome...

One other thing...I took the spark table from an '02 Corvette (A4) and modified it to what you see there. That's why it looks different than stock. If your friend drives an M6, his spark map might be a little different as well.

My reasoning...if GM is going to give the Vette's a slightly "hotter" tune, why not use it???

    These Cam Specs,

Are taken from the New "How To Build High Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V8's" book.
Author is Will Handzell (Manager of GMPP Division).
It's published By Cartech Books, ISBN 1-884089-84-4

This list has come from GM themselves and should be considered 100% correct.
