Default Can the 2-step/valet wire (pin 56) be connectoed to battery +???

I am wondering if the wire can be activated from connecting it to power. I need to switch it off the t-brake to try it out, but it is + power not ground. Let me know. Thanks.

No, the valet pin needs earth not power.

you could rig a flip-flop (relay) off your t-brake to get the ground you need.
