    Default DTC's after pcm swap

Wondering if I should be concerned with these...
    P0300-Engine misfire (2 of these)
P0748-Pressure Control solenoid A control circuit
    P1638-Generator F-Terminal Circuit
SES light was flashing while just idling. Also how do I turn off battery light in message box?

I assume you have the same OS that you had before (i.e. you performed a full reflash)?

I don't think so. I switched from 99 to 02. Had to re-license and copy/paste everything over. Also perform key re-learn or whatever is because it didn't want start.

The the OS in the PCM valid for your vehicle though? The license thing is just cause this PC has a new ID.

Should be. I called Nelson Performance and told them I wanted to upgrade to the 02 pcm. It is a stock silverado pcm so I would think it should be right.

Was the PCM swap the only thing changed at this time? The reason I ask is that if you have a 12 sec truck then obviously you have some serious mods-just want to rule out any inadvertant wiring snafu's. What OS number did you have to start and which one are you attempting to run now? If you put the original PCM and OS in the truck does it work? Does the battery appear to be charging?-Another wiring concern. The missfires are most likely due to a smaller, lighter converter-did you have to account for that with the previous PCM/OS? If not, on the present PCM/OS is the table the same? Oh, and my apologies if your 5.3 is not in a truck! My buddy just dropped a 6.0 iron block in a gutted 84 Foxbody mustang, you should have seen the looks we got at the track last wed. This was just a how cheap can we go to get into the 11's experiment.

Yes the PCM was the only thing changed at the time. I don't know what the OS #'s are. The truck starts, idles, runs, etc., just throwing codes that wasn't coming up before. What could throw a misfire code?(I know a misfire) But what could I adjust? I swapped the 5.3 H/C combo for a 6.0 w/heads and custom grind cam.

make sure you have transfered ALL your tables over, not just the ones you modified. You also need to do a CKP Learn (From the scan tool menu, Bidirectional -> CKP Learn - then follow the on screen instructions).

F-circuit means the exciter wire going to the alternator is open and the battery is not charging. Log the gm.volts PID or put a DMM across your battery to double check. This is the cause of your battery light

Have you tried putting your stock PCM back in as a sanity check?
Are the PCM connectors seated properly?
Are the PCM connector bolts torqued properly?

As TAQuickness said, do a CASE relearn. The P03xx codes are because of the PCM swap. Read more about it here:
