Ok , how do you get into a 06 4.2l Trailblazer PCM ?
I downloaded the latest version of EFILive , but am still not able to get into the PCM to read and flash it .

Do you get an error message when you try to read the PCM? If so, what is it?

It says "Bootloader rejected.
Reason:
EFILIve could not unlock the PCM.
If the PCM is locked and you know the unlock key , please enter it .
If this PCM was locked by FlashScan then you MUST unlock
the PCM using the SAME Flashscan interface that used to lock it ."
When I close out the error message and the dispaly readies it self again I see in the line of text PCM SEED is $36BE , strange but it will not unlock it .

Nope, did not do the trick , when I do show PCM info I get this ,

What year 4.2L I6 LL8 is it? If its an 06+, EFILive doesnt support it yet. I have an 02 LL8 and have been tuning it since May, so I know LL8 tuning works.

Yes it is a 06 , can't wait to tinker with the Trailblazer , I hear they come alive with a little tweaking .

Hold up is the release of FlashScan V2, the biggest thing since sliced bread. It will be out soon accompianed by an update for the LL8 PCM software, hopefully more tuning parameters.

And, yes, they do come alive with a little tweaking here and there, start with TQ Reduction and TQ Management settings and PE stuff. Adjust trans pressures and timings helps a lot too.
