    Default sample rate V2

I would like to hook up a sensor to the V2 but need a sample rate of 10-100kHz. Will that be possible or do I need an external data logger?

I'll need to get Paul to respond to this but I think the V2 could sample it no problem, but it will only get sent back to the PC with the OBDII data which will not give you your sample rates.

    Cheers,
    Ross

I'm fairly sure that if you only select external PIDs, then the sample rate will be quite high, since it will not be bogged down by the OBDII data.

I just tried with 1 A/D PID selected and got 40 frames per second. With 8 external PIDs selected I got 35 frames per second.

Depending on the speed of your PC you will get better or worse than that.

    Regards
    Paul
