    Default Maximum VSS value?

Just curious if there is a limit to the VSS PID? Max value I saw during logging of the last high speed run in Australia before the enforcement of a new 130km/hr limit showed 255km/hr.

For those that don't know, the Northern Territory in Aust used to never have a speed limit on open highways. The Government has now decided to set a 130km/hr limit on major highways so a few local LS1's went for one last drive.

The VSS value delivered from the PCM is a single byte value in km/h, so 255 is the maximum value ... has been discussed before, you would need to set up a calc pid using wheel size, rear end ratio and gear ratio to get the actual speed ...
