    Default Important V2 upgrade info

    Guys,

If you have upgraded from V1 to V2 and your V1 was purchased before 9-18-06, you are eligible for 4 licenses in your V2. Two were installed prior to shipping and you may have been given a code to enable 2 additional.

To avoid any confusion with the # of licenses the code thinks there is installed in your V2, be sure to use the code to enable these two additonal licenses before you transfer your V1 licenses into your V2 hardware.

Will it cause issues if I have not added the 2 addtional licenses yet?? Won't it just be like adding a normal license?

It is like adding a normal license but the count is only for a total of 4. If you have transfered your V1 licenses over, then the count is off and it will reject the additonal licenses.

I didn't do anything before the transfer. I guess I'm out of luck.

Should we have gotten the emails already for the extra two licenses?

I was under the impression that we would get them when the 97/98 stream was sent out.

Get with the person you ordered your upgrade through.

    not sure I understand

    If you follow the directions,

    1) You enable the V2 unit with the license code that comes with it.

    2) Connect your V1 and transfer the licenses

The licenses you end up with are the 2 that came with V2 + whatever number was in the V1 unit.

    Is this not correct ?

The only thing left will be to enter the code to enable the "Stream", you should recieve that in an email

Some people don't read the instructions.
