    Default Re-Flashing Problem v1 7.3.2

Just got my EFILive commercial kit today. So played with it tonite, did a short drive scan, read the stock tune and backed it up. Just for grins I decided to make a simple change and disable CAGS and attempt a reflash. Ran the test mode, licensed the PCM and all was well. I tried an actual reflash and got a 'Battery voltage too high or too low' message. It says it completed successfully but it did not change the stock PCM as I re-read it and compared.

The car is an 05 CTS-V and the nav system has a fan that runs when the key is on even though the system is off. Couldn't find the fuse for it in the dark tonite but do you think that is my problem?

Battery voltage always reads 14.3 volts so I doubt the battery is bad or is that 'too high'.

The calibration will not have changed. A few reflashes with the lights on(have to pull the relays/fuses to keep them off) will cause this to happen to me. My battery is on its way out. The more accessories that are still running, the quicker the battery will drain. Charge the battery and try again.

Key position should be past ACC , or just before the start position .

The flash process requires 12V (programming voltage) to be supplied to the PCM during erase and write procedures (i.e. for around 45 seconds). If the battery voltage is not high enough, EFILive issues a warning and prevents any erasing/programming from taking place. It's better to not start a flash then to fail halfway though and possibly toast the PCM.

Gald it was the problem .
I figured so , I did the same thing , did a couple of reflashes and then on the third reflash did not get key in right position and got the same message , I freaked to say the least .
