Thread: V2 and LC1

    Default V2 and LC1

    In the instructions that came with the V2 CD it shows the LC1 connected to a V1 in either slot C or E. The V2 doesn't have the same slots and I was wondering if I should hook it up in A or B? Also does the + mean output and the - means input?

    On the back of your V2 there should be a label showing AD1 thru AD4, and the polarity (+ or -) of each one;

    On each one:
    the + is the analog signal's positive input.
    the - is the analog signal's negative/ground.

    Is this what you're asking about...?

    Yes.... So should i hook AD1 + to the V2? Do I have to hook the ground of the same port everytime i use the input side?

    V1 has a common ground for AD1 and AD2.

    V2 has individual grounds for each of AD1, AD2, AD3, AD4 and these are isolated from each other.

    So you connect the LC-1's analog signal to the V2 as follows:
    LC-1 brown or yellow (analog signal) -> V2 AD1+
    LC-1 green or white (return/ground) -> V2 AD1-

    i.e. the ground must be connected to the - pin of the AD port you're using.
