Looks really clean Doc!! I haven't messed with a dash in a bit.. Maybe I should work on one again. hmm.. I want Andrews BTW.
Doc & Andrew - Great work!
Chad - If you're gonna get back into it, I'd like one for my bird
So, whats the easiest way to make a custom dashboard? I want to whip one up for my truck as the generic ones dont really work well as the LL8 doesnt have a bunch of the inputs.

Really the hardest part for me is finding a background. I mean if you have all the parameters lined up for a particular task that is really the easy part and you could just throw charts at it and be done with it but hey you got to give that little kid in the lane next to you something really cool to look at instead of some hum drum chart. I have gotten the biggest responses with Chad's Dash pages up which inspired me to step up.
Thanks for keeping this alive. I was getting worried. I didn't want to bump/pump it. If you need help with setting up pids/parameters to work out solutions, well by all means come into this thread too! I'll be more than willing to share/help out with what I can-and be ready to accept constructive critical responses as well.
Thanks for stopping by and keeping this thread alive.

Chad inspired me as well, that and EFILive actually adding this capability back then. I had a pretty cool dash just using the standard gauges, but this is another level.
Like Doc says you need to start with a background where you have made space particularly for a gauge/graph. On mine I wrote down the PIDs/data that I wanted and tried to catagorise it into sections. Then you go about adding and customising the gauges where they are supposed to go. It's not a 5 minute job, but is worth it - I've used mine for well over a year now
I can host them if people want to... Probably best to ZIP them up and try and have a nice structure with perhaps a PID file as well?

How about a dash section on holden crazy as well as the tunes.
It's all good until it goes "Bang"
