    Default COS types and abilities?

I see OS5, and it appears its mostly for Boost/nitrous. But, what do OS's 1-4 do? I searched but couldn't find a description of each.

A breakdown of each OS's features would be super. Thanks guys.

These are the major highlights as I recall

    COS1
restored dual spark maps for running in SD

    COS2
    Same as COS1
    Added Valet mode

    COS3
    Same as COS2
Replaced B3605 (ECT vs MAP OL Fueling) with B3647 (RPM vs MAP OL fueling)
    IAT VE multiplier
    ECT EQ multiplier
    Added Boost VE table
    Added Boost Timing tables

    COS5
    Same as COS3
added TPS vs MAP VE table
additional functionality added for PCM Pin 56.

This is the best my memory serves, which is rather shaken with the RTACS announcement, so feel free to correct me.

    edit: corrected per Tordne's post

Only correction: Boost VE and Timing is a COS3 function. Otherwise looks spot on

TA, I copied the COS summary into the OS FAQ sticky thread....

or, should there be a separate sticky for COS features...?

    Feel free to move/organize it.

Good spot for it. Mind helping me to better organizing it?

Ok, we can sort it by question, have a seperate post per question within the FAQ thread, something like that.

I should scour the forum threads to collect any scattered COS information into the FAQ thread.

I'd actually like to get on a conf with you two (joecar and TAquickness) and work out a good structure for this sort of stuff. I think it will get pretty ugly with stickies. I quite like the LS1TECH stickies that refers to different posts.
