Default Any amd64 drivers available for vista etc?

Just wondering if I need specific flashscan drivers or the generic FT ones work? Which then begs the question are there any 64bit ftdi d2xx drivers?

Not sure if they will work/recognise FlashScan.

Ok, maybe Im on the wrong track but I added the following info into the 64bit driver .inf

    %USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A0.DeviceDesc%=FTD2XX, USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A0
    %USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A1.DeviceDesc%=FTD2XX, USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A1
    %USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A2.DeviceDesc%=FTD2XX, USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A2
    %USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A3.DeviceDesc%=FTD2XX, USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A3

Under the hardware section, and this under strings.

    USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A0.DeviceDesc="EFILive FlashScan FSP"
    USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A1.DeviceDesc="EFILive FlashScan V2"
    USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A2.DeviceDesc="EFILive CAN Analyzer"
    USB\VID_0403&PID_E4A3.DeviceDesc="EFILive Autocal"

But I get the error above. Vista64 likes the drivers so the PCI ID must be ok, but says something is missing from the INF.

Paul/Ross any ideas? Am I close or way off target? In which case are 64bit drivers an easy add or hard?

Is there a I386 or I686 folder , don't remember which one I think it is I386 , but Windows Longhorn 64 bit required you to direct 32 bit apps to a I386 or I686 folder for them to work .

Its a proper 64bit driver, so nothing other than the drivers are there with the native 64bit files. The lines above AFAIK are to identify the device so that the OS knows to use the right drivers.

I think there is a config line missing from the .inf file.
