    Default Tcc Pwm

    Is there a way to turn this off via the PCM? For example if I bumped up D2903 and D2904 to 100% and set D2901 to the same value as D2902. Would that effectively turn off PWM? Seeing as now the tune dictates that TCC duty cycle has to 100% and no less..

    I know this can be done mechanically with a diffrent solenoid. I am just wondering if setting these values in the tune would have the same/similar effect. I am trying to take as much slip as possiable out of the TCC when it is applied.

    I haven't played with this...

    You could try what you said, and also you could try setting all cells in D2905 to the max value.

    So bascially you want to apply the TCC to 100% in the shortest time.

    Yeah basically. I will try bumping up everything and see what it does.. I just do not want to F%$# anything up.

    OKay, just set d2903 and d2904 to 100% and d2901 and d2902 to 900. This definately gave a nice firm TCC engagement. When scanning you no longer see the TCC duty ramp up to 100% i just instantly goes to 100%. Could it be said I have effectively eleminted PWM with tunning alone?

    GM.TCCSLIP reads less than 20 RPM or so when TPS is les than 10% anything over 10% GM.TCCSLIP start going up and got as high 700 RPM at about 30% TPS. I am going to bump up D2902 to 1000 and see if I can get rid of some of this TCC slip I keep seeing.

    Would this possibly have any effect on the rate of disengagement as well?

    Once my TCC Release points have been crossed and the PCM first commands the unlock, it takes a full second for it to actually occur (this being in 4th gear, 2000-2200 rpms), and is a KILLER with a roots supercharger, as in that second I can jump to over 6psi and on comes the lug-related knock.

    I think there may be a separate release table, which we don't have yet.

    Well I have been driving around with my TCC pressure bumped to 1000 and there is still noticable slip there.. I am proablly battling a mechanical problem here.

    Has anyone found if there is a way to get the TCC to release quicker. It certainly can create kickdown knock.

    I notice that D2902 is set at 827 when the max possible is 1765. What is the effect of increasing this number?

    Try the slip tests in 3rd gear and see if it still exists. You may want to enable TCC in 2nd and test that gear as well. If it exists in 3rd and not 2nd it will be a common burned 3-4 clutch.
