Default Calling All 60 lbs injector users

I am having an issue getting my AFR in line. Fuel system entails:

2-255 lph pumps in the tank (running all the time)
    -8 feed
    speed inc rails
    60 lbs mototrons
    aeromotive regulator (with boost reference)
stock feed as my return line

I can't get any better than 11.3 to 1 AFR not matter what I do to the injector tables. I even shifted IFR table and the car was still rich.

I have run the car with one pump unplugged and the AFR did not change

I started dropping fuel pressure at the regulator to see how low I needed the fuel pressure to be to get my AFR in line. At about 25 psi of FP, the car was around 14 to 1. This was with one pump unplugged.

I droped a lot of the injector tables to zero and that didn't change much at all.

Anyways, maybe you guys have some insight!

    Thanks,
    Glenn

Did you try the Voltage Offset table. Try reducing by as little as 0.20 ms in the 13-14.5 column and see if it does anything for you...

What value do you have in the IFR table? What minimum Injector Duty Cycle are you seeing? No problem with my 60s. All I changed was the IFR table. I'm running a base(vac/boost line disconnected from the regulator) FP of 60 psi.

    X

Here are the values I am using in IFR:
    G/SEC
    0-8.7295
    5-8.7839
    10-8.8380
    15-8.8918
    20-8.9452
    25-8.9983
    30-9.0511
    35-9.1035
    40-9.1557
    45-9.2076
    50-9.2592
    55-9.3105
    60-9.3616
    65-9.4123
    70-9.4628
    75-9.5130
    80-9.5629

Minimum Inj duty cycle is 2

    base pulse width is 1.7ish

I am running vacuum line disconnected and a base of 58 psi.

I even changed the IFR table to an 80 psi injector and the AFR never changed. I feel I have a fuel return line issue. I think the stock feed is a restriction and I should run -8 back to the tank???

    Thanks,
    Glenn

I'm using a flat(vac/boost ref is connected) 8.89 g/sec across the board. Same setup as you other than a single 255 pump. -8 AN feed Y'd into the rear of the rails, both returns from the front of the rails to the FPR, FPR to the factory feed as return. At 600 RPM idle my IBPW is also around 1.7. I don't think the return line is an issue as long as you are able to regulate FP. At idle my FP is around 52 psi. You should see about the same if your vac ref is connected. I know others have had idle issues with the 60s on returnless setups where they are unable to get the FP below 58-60 psi.

Yeah, I am unsure about the return, if there is an issue there or not. I am able to regulate FP all the way down to 20 psi.

I do have the vacuum ref, on the regultor hooked up now, but there has been no change. I have also logged AFR while dropping the FP and it took a 30psi drop in FP to get the AFR to lean out.

I have began messing with some of the inj tables so we will see where that leads me.

    Any other thoughts?

    Thanks again guys!

Do your NB O2s agree with the WB that it is rich?

hmm, good question! I've never really payed attention to the NB02's.

Thanks for the heads up, I will get a chance to log again early next week, I will keep you posted.

    Thanks,
    Glenn
