Default Aloha Newbie from Hawaii, looking for HI members...

    Aloha everyone!

Thanks to Chad from Green Light Motorsports help, I purchased an EFI live V2 and and LM-1.

I am totally new to the tuning scene and trying to learn as much and as fast as possible.

I am a GM tech and specialize in driveability and not a stranger to GM EFI systems, however find the tuning a great new challenge to be learned.

    I own a '98 WS6 M6 with an '01 LS1.
I just installed a set of PAtriot LS6 CNC heads, TSP MS4 cam, FAST 90 /Holley 90, Pacesetter headers and ORY. Also have a Lid and SLP 85 MAF.

Overall, I am impressed on the driveability of the car considering the size of the cam.

I was hoping there would be a member here in Hawaii who can show me the ropes a bit on tuning.

I really appreciate SSpdmon's help and will be using his suggestions to help with some AFR and idle issues.

Look forward to chatting on the forum and learning more.

    Gil

Thanks for the warm welcomes everybody.

Just from reading the replies on the forum, I can see lots of knowledgeable and helpful members.

Funny thing about being a driveability tech is being able to see and learn the "behind the scenes" operations in the PCM's. I am overwhelmed without the amount of categories there are which can be changed to improve the operation of these Gen III's.

    Thanks again!
