Default LS1 to LS2 cam sensor wiring help

Hi Guys, I've recently installed a 402 stroker in to my car. (VY SS UTE) and i purchased the ls1 to ls2 extension cables fom racetronix to extend the cam sensor wiring harness from the back of the motor to the front.

But shortly after the engine is running i get a P0343 DTC error logged for a CamShaft position sensor circuit high.

If i unplug the cable, i then get a circuit low DTC P0342.

I'm hoping that it's just a stuff up with the cable wiring, so im hoping someone might have a diagram of what the pin outs are on the Aussie LS1 wiring harness is as well as the LS1 & LS2 Cam sensors. (So i can make sure the wiring is incorrect to fix)

1 thing i had to do to the cable to get it to fit into my ls2 sensor, was to use a soldering iron to melt a slot in the plastic to allow the plug to go all the way in to the sensor. Just incase anyone asks, yes the connecter is facing the right way as it has the clip going over the top of the sensor thingo to lock into place.

P.S engine came out of another car and was working fine. So sensor should be okay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think i swaped the out side wires last time

the tool for removing the pins from the plug can be purchased from a CAT dealer about $80

& there is two LS2 cam sensors from holden one is big $ the other is cheap and worked for me both times

    I sent you a PM

I have been thru this. The cable (Katech) I got was 180* out. It is not right that you had to modify the connector to fit-
Are you using the OEM cable extender that routes the cable to to the bottom of the cover?
In the end you have to use a meter to check from the firewall comnnector to the sensor.

You cant do a crank relearn with the cam sensor error anyway, so thats not it.

I'm away from home at the moment, but when i get back I'm going to trace the wires in the cable to make sure they go from 1 end to the other with out crossing over.

I will give ya call on friday NTAE if that's okay.

Well i checked the wiring this morning and the wiring went like this.

    A B C

    C B A

I have now cut and resoldered the wires so they are now.

    A B C

    A B C

No more cam sensor error, However im not happy with having to modify the $30 dollar cable!

P.S there were no pinout numbers on my cam sensor. maybe i got the cheap one.
