    Default Reading an E38 / E67 ECM

You must be running v7.4 or later and using V2 hardware to be able to read the E38 / E67.
When you press the green icon in Tune, select either E38 or E67 ECM from the drop down list. If you are unsure which ECM the vehicle is using try to locate the ECM in the engine bay and compare it to the picture shown at the top right of the read screen.

Select ECM Type E38 to read.

Select ECM Type E67 to read.

Once you make the correct selection, then simply press start.
If you select the wrong ECM type don't worry, you won't damage anything, the ECM will simply reject the bootloader and EFILive will give you an error message stating this.
The read times may vary, but expect somewhere between 3 - 4 minutes to read the ECM out.

    Cheers,
    Ross

    Thanks Sir,

What about scanning those ECM's? Will all the pids supported in 7.4 yet or do we need to wait for them?
