    Default V1 to V2 Workshop

I see a lot of information about upgrades but wonder about the functionality of the V1 after the V2 upgrade for the Workshop user.
What can the V1 be used for after the upgrade?

v1 workshop needs to be returned, you will not get unlock codes for the v2 unit until this happens. I understand it will the be converted to a commercial unit and then returned to the workshop so it can be used as a backup, or spare for scanning etc at that point.

The Quick Start booklet has a section on upgrading V1 to V2. It appears that if your V2 says "upgrade pending" that you connect both flashscan units and perform the upgrade process. Does this apply to the Workshop V1 to V2 upgrade.

Might need a big boy to help me. Tordne, help!

I think it does the same process.. (eg) copy un-used slots over etc but am unsure.
