Default V1 and V2 same USB drivers?

I am using V1 and V2 off and on on the same late model XP laptop. I now lose connection during scan and can restore connection only by unplugging and repugging, but even this is a short lived fix. Should I be using different drivers for V1 and V2?

V1 and V2 should use the same driver package no problems.

    Ok, swell. Thanks
V1 seems to run with the 1.06s or V2s but it sure likes USB2 better than USB1, or so it seems.
It will drop scan connection in less than 200 frames most times if not using USB2 PCMCIA card while V2 does not seem to care?
